Hello friends, in today’s episode, I will share some thoughts on Psalm 34:12-13. I was reading these verses, and the Lord gave me a desire to talk about this topic that sprang out of those verses.
As I began reading Psalm 34:12-13. I began to think about how the world views longevity of life vs. how the Lord views longevity of life. The world views longevity of life as extending time on earth as much as possible, where the Lord in His word says that a life that walks in obedience to Him and fears Him is a life that not only considers this present life but eternity. True longevity is life beyond this life.

Though taking care of your body isn't wrong in of itself. I believe scripture encourages us to do. But be careful and wise as to the messages the world is sending. One could do all the right things in taking care of their body yet be eternally separated from God. True Longevity is life beyond this life, living in eternity with God. You may be able to DIY your physical health and listen to all the gurus on how to live longer. But you cannot trust in your efforts to save your soul; put your faith in the God who offers true longevity (eternity with Him).
